senior preston

I spent some time with a really cool high school senior named Preston this past weekend. He’s a great musician and an all around solid dude. Here are some snaps from the day.

the lairds

It was difficult to say goodbye to my good mate Dave Laird and his family over the holiday season. As life goes, their time in Seattle has come to an end and they are flying south this winter for Dave’s home country of New Zealand to pursue new career opportunities. I’ve had the pleasure of getting know this extraordinary family over the last few years and I’ve eagerly pursued any opportunity to work with Dave. He’s a gifted and creative designer (have a look at my website) and he and his family are just all-around cool people. Have a great adventure Lairds.

the best kind of news

On this past Friday, Dec. the 12th, I celebrated my three year anniversary with my beautiful girlfriend Stacy. And I felt I should tell everyone that she is no longer my girlfriend…she is my fiancée! We are hoping to get married in August of ’09 and I get the greatest joy of not only becoming a husband, but a father too. Below are a few photos that our friend Amy Allan took for us.

seattle celebrates obama

A victory celebration ran well past 2 am last night just a few blocks from where I live in Seattle. Tons of Obama supporters filled the streets after hearing the election results. People were singing and dancing, drinking freely and lighting off fireworks. I have never experienced this level of excitement over an election and it was amazing to witness such joy and hope.
